Tick Introduction to Awesome Teleporters!
Awesome Teleporters! (Mod ID: 950914) completely overhauls map traversal. It allows you to place custom teleportation pads, retrieve dropped items upon death, and access an intricate network of public and private fast-travel hubs without relying on standard beds.
Using the System
Step 1: The Awesome Teleporter Pad
Craft a Teleporter Pad from your inventory. Once placed, interact with it to name the location and set it as Private, Tribe-Only, or Public. Naming your pads efficiently (e.g., "Main Base", "Metal Mountain") makes navigating the UI significantly easier.
Step 2: The Awesome Remote
The Remote is your most powerful tool. Left-click with the remote equipped to open the global teleport UI from anywhere on the map. You can teleport yourself and any nearby dinos inside your bubble to any of your active pads.
Step 3: Corpse Finder & Item Recovery
If you die, you can use the Awesome Remote (or interact with a placed Teleporter Pad) to select the "Corpse Finder" option. This allows you to remotely summon your death cache back to your location, saving you from perilous retrieval runs.
Step 4: Dino Tracker
Lost a tame? Use the "Dino Tracker" function within the remote's UI to locate any dino registered to your tribe. You can even teleport them straight to your current location instantly.
Best Practices
- Always carry at least one Awesome Remote on your hotbar.
- Set up a small 1x1 teleporter outpost near major artifact caves and obelisks to streamline boss fights.
- Right-click with the remote to instantly teleport to the last pad you used.
